Bolt-on solution for Mercedes-Benz M176/M177/M178 engine power gain, designed to work with stock exhaust manifold and other engine units. Comes in two options - Stage 1 and stage 2, specifications and compatibility list written below.

 

STAGE 1 Turbosystems upgrade turbochargers for Mercedes-Benz M176/M177/M178 features: 

standard sleeve bearing system with upgraded trust bearing for higher boost and performance;
reinforced enlarged 9+0 blades machined from the solid compressor wheels - 51/63mm; 
enlarged turbine wheels - 12 blades 54/49mm;
refurbished housings;
CNC machined housings;
balanced on VSR;
 

Power range: up to 800+ hp

 

 

STAGE 2 Turbosystems upgrade turbochargers for Mercedes-Benz M176/M177/M178 features: 

dual ceramic ball bearings;
reinforced enlarged9+0 blades machined from the solid compressor wheels - 53/65mm; 
enlargedturbine wheels - 10 blades 55/49mm;
refurbished housings;
CNC machined housings;
balanced on VSR;
